When you share with your girlfriend intimate details of your life, shortcomings, disappointments, fears, joys, successes, challenges, health issues, family drama, and the "Ins and Outs" of navigating through this thing called life and the person you are sharing with meets you with prayer, support, a shoulder to cry on, a smile, a Kleenex, hope, humor, and looks at you with understanding do you not just want to yell THANK YOU GOD! Thank you for this gift of a friend because when I'm with her, I feel normal.
